An Update from our Vale do Lobo Sales Manager 

 

           So far in 2024, the property market in Vale do Lobo has got off to a flying start!

At QP Savills year-to-date we've already hit our target number of sales for the whole year.

What could have been a slow start to the year, taking into account the global political and security concerns and the changes in government policy, has taken us pleasantly by surprise and the only thing holding us back from selling more is the lack of available property for sale. I think it goes to show that Vale do Lobo, along with Quinta do Lago and all of the Golden Triangle, has an enduring appeal and a robust market built on strong demand and a lack of supply.

The majority of our buyers are still primarily from Britain and Ireland who are seeking holiday homes, but we are seeing an increase in other nationalities such as Americans and an increase in demand from buyers looking to live all year round.

Vale do Lobo has it all. It's on the beach, only 20 minutes from Faro airport, and has lots of restaurants and facilities including two championship golf courses, 24-hour security and medical assistance, and a community which is one of the reasons why Vale do Lobo has such a loyal following.

Vale do Lobo also has big expansion plans including building a 5-star hotel, further investment into their current facilities, and building 460 new homes.

We, QP Savills, have been operating in the area for around 25 years so we've built up a huge amount of experience and expertise. We have three offices locally – one in Quinta do Lago, one in Loulé, and one in Vale Do Lobo just near the main roundabout opposite Pingo Doce. We have the largest and most experienced sales team locally and have one of, if not the largest, marketing budgets in the Algarve for a property company.

On a personal note, I've been in the Real Estate industry for over 18 years – 16 years of which in the prime and super prime Central London markets. Working in Richmond, Knightsbridge & Belgravia, and Notting Hill where I ran a successful sales team for 8 years. As the Vale do Lobo Sales Manager I've been tasked to solidify and grow our market share in Vale do Lobo, but I'm still very much part of the Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo sales team, as I love the day-to-day selling of property and working closely with clients.
