Leadership & Growth

Leading the charge in our core market, we are delighted to see Iain Begg thrive in his new role as Sales Director for the Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo area. His leadership, drive and vision are already making a remarkable impact. Working alongside him, Stephanie Limpert-Peers has been promoted to help deliver an even faster, more dynamic service to our valued clients.

Meanwhile, our Loulé office, led by Monica Mendes, continues to go from strength to strength. In 2025, she had already doubled her turnover from 2024, growing both her team and her impressive portfolio of listings. According to Savills’ newly released Spotlight on Wealth Trends 2025 report, Portugal is now firmly established as one of Europe’s most desirable destinations for high-net-worth individuals. Lisbon ranks 26^th, Cascais 33^rd, and Quinta do Lago 43^rd in the global HNWI Hotspot Index, reflecting Portugal’s growing appeal among the world’s affluent buyers. The report also shows that the number of ultra-wealthy individuals relocating to Portugal has risen by more than 15% in the past year, driven by its outstanding lifestyle, security and investment potential.

Savills highlights that property remains the cornerstone of global HNWI wealth portfolios, with increasing emphasis on lifestyle, capital preservation and long-term value. Demand for properties in destinations offering sunshine, safety and a high quality of life, such as the Algarve, is stronger than ever.

Recent figures also show that Portugal recorded the highest property-price growth in the EU in the first quarter of 2025, with a year-on-year increase of 16.3%, well above the EU average of 5.7%. At the same time, residential units licensed for construction rose by 18% year-on-year, reflecting an unprecedented level of investment in new developments. The market is absorbing this new stock at a pace, particularly in prime coastal and resort locations.
