1. World-class golf courses

Quinta Do Lago is rated as one of the best golf destinations in Europe, with over 30 courses to try. It is home to the world-renowned Paul McGinley Golf Academy and the only TaylorMade Performance Center in Southern Europe. The wide range of skill levels makes it accessible to all. Beginners can hone their skills at the driving range and practice facilities which offer a putting green, chipping green, and a pitching area.

2. Ria Formosa Natural Park

Right at the edge of Quinta Do Lago is the amazing Ria Formosa Natural Park, which has recently been included in the list of 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. Ria Formosa is a coastal lagoon that is home to different habitats including islets, marshes, dunes, freshwater lagoons, and many more. It is also an important area for birds and hosts thousands of migrant species during the winter.

It’s the perfect place to go cycling, birdwatching, kayaking, stand-up paddling, and sailing. 

3. The Lake (Casa Do Lago, The Shack)

Most of us QP Special Agents are foodies and one of our favourite places to dine in is Casa do Lago, located on the edge of the lake. It is famous for its cuisine and outdoor terrace, making it the perfect place to celebrate special occasions and enjoy fresh seafood bought from the local market. The Shack is also a great place to enjoy delicious cocktails and snacks with a stunning lakeside view.

4. The Conrad

Weekends at the Conrad Algarve mean world-class service and relaxation. The hotel has luxurious spa facilities and sparkling heated pools. After a day out in the sun, you can choose from their selection of restaurants which includes the Michelin-star restaurant Gusto by Heinz Beck.

5. Quinta Shopping

Quinta do Lago has its own shopping mall located near the entrance of the resort. Here you will find shops and restaurants for every taste. The mall hosts a Farmer’s Market every first Sunday of the month where residents and guests can purchase locally grown produce and traditional products.
