Raquel was born in South Africa but grew up in the Algarve. With her passion to travel, life took her all over the globe to places like Canada, Ireland, and the United States for periods of time, but her heart was firmly rooted in the Algarve.

She is a busy mother to two beautiful young boys and has also managed to build a career over the past 10 years as a personal assistant and has been closely attached to the local property market which is her passion. A sports enthusiast and nature lover, a lot of her free time is spent with her husband and children exploring the natural streams and rivers, local fish and fruit markets, and enjoying all the outdoor activities that the Algarve offers all year round.
