Iain is one of our Special Agents and loves exploring the Algarve with his family. From travelling to Fortaleza de Sagres, or attending a traditional chorizo festival in Querença, the Begg family never cease to find an adventure. His two children have moved to a local international school and as you can tell by the smiles on their faces, they love it here in southern Portugal. When asked about his experience of moving out to Portugal, Iain said, “having lived in London for 16 years, it is now a pleasure to wake up to the sunshine every morning and we all love the outdoor lifestyle the Algarve has to offer”.

Jamie is our sales director here at QP Savills and the pictures on his camera roll perfectly sum him up. When he isn’t working hard in the office, Jamie is out discovering new tracks on his bike or posing for a picture on the incredible Falesia cliffs. Daisy, the Robinson family’s crazy woofer, adores long walks and is the best companion for scouting out new trekking routes. Tuesday is our newest member of the team here at QP Savills, and fills her weekends making special memories roaming around the Algarve. Whilst she is working with us, Tuesday is on a mission to find the perfect spots for scrumptious food, breathtaking views and quirky hidden secrets. Her latest adventure led her to Armona Island, for a day spent soaking up Vitamin D. One can only embrace the traditional Portuguese life, whilst strolling through the most unique and tranquil village at the heart of the island. There is no place truly quite like it! Top Tip: If you are lucky and the tide is low, you can wade out to beautiful sand dunes formed in the sea, located on the island’s South West coast.

Susana is a fundamental part of the administration team and has the most contagious smile. If anyone were to know the secrets of The Golden Triangle, it is she. Beach hangouts, quaint fisherman villages and historical architecture all bombard Susana’s camera roll, making it one of the most special galleries of photographs you will ever see. A glimpse into a typical weekend with Susana includes hopping on the mini-train to Praia do Barril beach, and relishing in some quality family time, or even enjoying the sunset amongst the best work colleagues in the world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Susana surprised her daughter with an unforgettable birthday present, a hot air balloon ride! Why don’t you take a trip up into blue skies and absorb 360 degree views of Lagos and the countryside surrounding it?

 

Special Agent, Alexandra

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alexandra is based in the Loulé office and is the woman to go to when it concerns restaurant recommendations. Evenings spent at Cestaria in Olhao or delicious dinners at Alameda restaurant in Faro; Alex knows the ultimate spots for incredible food and fab service. On the days in which Alex isn’t being our very own food critic, she’s spending time in the outdoors, hiking the Cabeça do Cerro da câmara in Loulé or strolling along the beaches. TOP TIP: Pop into the tourist centre located in Loulé and treat yourself to a bundle of local walk guides – there’s an abundance of them.

 

Special Agent, Raquel

Raquel is one of our fantastic Special Agents in the Quinta do Lago office. The Santos family spend their time together celebrating life to the full! From hosting birthday parties at Par-Tee or visiting the Faro fun fair in October, and going on adventurous missions around the Fonte Benémola, Raquel and her boys are creating memories which will remain for a lifetime. Hint: Be sure to walk around the nature reserves in the winter seasons so that there is plenty of water to splash around in.

Our financial controller, Tina, must be one of the coolest in her profession. With a trendy fashion sense and a bright personality, her camera roll doesn't imply anything different. On Tina’s most recent excursion, she travelled to Ilha do Pessegueiro for the perfect getaway. Drinking wine and horseback riding along the beach, the pictures were stunning and could inspire anyone to venture away for the perfect weekend.
