New Road from Almancil to Quinta do Lago
By Frank Schmitz • Nov 12th, 2009 • Category: Quinta NewsAccording to the Quinta do Lago owners association “Aproquila” (www.aproquila.com) the road from Almancil to the Q roundabout is due to receive a major facelift. They had expected this work to have started in April this year but it seems to have been delayed again.
The work will include removing the rather dangerous curve in the middle and the equally dangerous hump on the approach to the roundabout.
It will also add a pavement, cycle track, lighting and a couple of additional roundabouts to help with traffic flow and control speeds. The plans for this are available to see in the office of the Quinta do Lago owners association in Almancil.
