For 20 years, Simon Clayton worked for an investment bank in the City of London. In 1998 one of his major clients, DHL, invited him to become Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman, a challenge that also meant relocating to Brussels. Now recently retired from DHL, Simon and his wife Judy explain why they have settled in Quinta do Lago.
Seamus O’Keefe has been in the Algarve for 15 years. Jorge Tito was born in the Algarve and studied the hotel trade in Porto. He worked for six years for Le Méridien hotels in the Algarve before being sent to Brazil. Head-hunted by owner of the Quinta do Lago Hotel, Daniel do Adro, he has become the first Algarvean General Manager of this prestigious 5-star hotel.
Domingos da Silva is Managing Director of Quinta do Lago. He has been with the resort for over 17 years, and for many people, he IS Quinta do Lago. In that time he has seen it grow, change and mature, almost like a person. He talks about his life, his loves – and Quinta do Lago.
